We have had an extremely busy few months with ongoing research and development particularly, with Vehicle Forensics.
Our team have taken test cars out on the road writing data to the memory of vehicles and completing a full extraction of the Event Data Recorder. The data has been slightly surprising as the findings were a little conflicting. We also encountered hidden data which was in turn de-coded an interpreted. This is an area we will be working on in the next stages of Vehicle Forensics. One successful case has proven another passenger was in a vehicle at the time of a reported incident. The mobile phone data was downloaded from the infotainment system and consequently proved to be connected at the relevant time. Both passenger and driver doors were opened at the same time eliminating the fact that only one person was said to be in the vehicle. Watch this space as we update our findings...
